Front of House Customer Service Associate

Crown Trophy of Pleasanton is hiring a part-time Front of House Customer Service Associate to help with customers, phones, pickups, and daily front counter organization.

We are a locally owned awards and recognition shop that creates trophies, plaques, medals, corporate awards, custom gifts, and personalized items for schools, sports leagues, businesses, nonprofits, and local families.

You do not need experience in trophies, engraving, or custom awards. We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, organized, and comfortable helping customers.

At first, this role will be focused on helping us during our busy season by greeting customers, answering phones, handling basic pickups, taking clear messages, and helping keep the front of the store organized. For the right person, this role has the opportunity to grow over time as they learn the business and take on more responsibility in customer service, order intake, follow-up, showroom support, and light administrative work.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers when they come into the store
• Help determine whether customers are picking up an order, placing a new order, or checking on an existing order
• Help customers with basic pickups
• Answer phones in a friendly and professional manner
• Take clear and accurate messages
• Route customer questions to the correct team member
• Make calls to customers when orders are ready for pickup
• Help keep the front counter, pickup area, and showroom organized
• Assist with basic customer follow-up
• Collect customer information clearly and accurately
• Learn our systems and procedures over time
• Help the team stay organized during busy periods

As you learn the business, responsibilities may expand to include:

• Basic order intake
• Looking up customer orders
• Helping with simple repeat orders
• Following up on customer questions
• Light administrative support
• Helping maintain showroom displays and samples

Schedule

This is a part-time position.

Expected hours: 20–30 hours per week

Schedule will generally be daytime weekday hours, Monday through Friday. Exact schedule may vary slightly based on business needs.

Pay

$19–$24 per hour, depending on experience and fit.

Starting responsibilities will focus on front desk support, phones, pickups, customer communication, and organization, with room for the role to grow over time.
